Well today me and Amie went to Brown Sugar. We did actually do A LOT of work for the Context exam on Tuesday. We managed to read nearly a WHOLE CHAPTER (well more like half) of the "course handbook" a.k.a. "the impossible book" as it is actually impossible to read - i had to buy a dictionary to understand it! Listen here, this is one of the sentences about the marketisation of education from "the Blackwell guide to the philosophy of education"-
" The popular appeal of many quasi-market "reforms" rest in part therefore, paradoxiacally, on unresolved contradictions in an earlier ostensibly egalitarian public project"
Ok now tell me, what is that all about? the eggaratarianism of early oestenarianistis whatty?! you see i have to make an emphasis on the amount of work we did cos you wont believe me otherwise. Anyway we did a lot of work.
Anyway, so while we were sitting in Brown Sugar, sutdiously pouring over our "handibook", sipping our latte's, sharing cake, taking a break from the brain frying session over chips, chicken strippers and garlic mayonaise (hmm hmm hmm!!)we had this really cheeky waiter (not bad looking but perhaps not the sharpest tool in the box) who had the nerve to serve us! Firstly, he never quite knew where to look when he passed us (we were sitting quite near the kitchen at the back on the big sofa). He would either have a fasicnation with the food on the table, or make some eye contact with Amie or othertimes just simply look skyward in an attempt to avoid any form of intimacy. He also stated on our ordering of garlic mayonaise that we would be "stinky" - although thinking about this afterwards we came to the conclusion that he was secrety gutted, you can draw you own conclusions why we thought this.
For your benefit i have concocted a little drawing of him, so next time you enter Brown Sugar you can steer clear of this mischievous character! But then again he did seem like a nice enough bloke, and i will him credit for giving us a distraction from the hideousness of revision, so dont give him too much of a hard time.
So, go spot the watier!! nudge nudge wink wink...

Spot our hottie!!!!!!!!! It strikes me as interesting that these two posts go together....the one about you being an intense kisser and the hints about garlic breath mayonaise boy...hmmm, I wonder, only joking, we both know nothing was really going on with the lovley bully, bull bully!!!!!! Nice bloke, bit of a cheeky, teasy flirt but ANY distraction from that book is always most welcome. Thanks for the afternoon, it was great and I learnt a whole lot (and we both improved our colouring in skills!!!)
Love ya,
Amie

oh no sorry, garlic breath! ah well always room for a peter kay comment!
it was actually garlic MAYONNAISE but that doesn't work so well with the whole Peter Kay thing really....
